Connecting spatial biology across the UK

SpatiaLondon brings together researchers, bioinformaticians and technology specialists to share expertise and advance spatial transcriptomics.

Founded by five London institutions—King’s College London, UCL, Imperial College London, Queen Mary University of London and the Francis Crick Institute—the network began with support from the Francis Crick Institute’s networking funding. It quickly expanded beyond London with support from DisCouRSE+, and now includes members across the UK.

Our name reflects where we began; our community reflects how far we have grown. Together, we exchange practical experience, tackle shared analytical challenges, develop tools and training, and work towards common standards for spatial research.
